Moussa to LBCI: attempts to topple Cabinet increase fear of void

Development and Liberation Bloc MP Michel Moussa said that contacts are not blocked between the Speaker Nabih Berri and other parties.

He considered that the most important movement is being currently conducted by the Lebanese president regarding the national dialogue.

In a talk to LBCI during Nharkon Said, Moussa said that attempts to topple the government after the assassination of Major General Wissam al-Hassan increased the fear of a political void in the country.

"Forming governments usually takes months; the formation of a government in light of the current circumstances in Lebanon is even more difficult of a task with fear of void looming on the horizon," Moussa added.

Deputy Moussa called on all political and security officials to understand the disorders that resulted from the assassination of Major General al-Hassan and work together to fortify the situation in Lebanon.
