Compensations to be paid for Fassouh building victims starting tomorrow

The Higher Relief Commission declared on Tuesday that, upon the provision of funds to pay the compensations for the people affected by the collapse of the Fassouh building in Achrafieh, payments will commence as of the 7th, 8th and 9th of November 2012, starting from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, at the committee's office in Beirut, Minaa al-Hosn, Starco bldg, Bloc A, 8th floor.

The commission stressed in a statement that the beneficiaries bring all identification documents allowing them to receive such compensations.

[A six-story residential building collapsed on Sunday January 15, 2012, in Al-Motran Atallah Street, Fassouh, Achrafieh, where the final death toll was estimated at 27, while rescuers managed to free several survivors with various injuries.]
