Protesters against law #174 block Sodeco Rd, Security Forces reopen it

Security forces reopened the Sodeco road Wednesday after being completely cut-off by protesters upon the call of the Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs & Pastries in Lebanon. Protesters called for the amendment of the smoking ban law and for the suspension of its implementation until its amendment.

An ISF unit rushed to the scene to follow up on the sit-in where security forces diverted traffic to other streets, which was the cause of a massive gridlock.
