Sahili calls for distancing political issues from parliamentary work

The Parliament's Administration and Justice Committee held on Monday a meeting under the chairmanship of its Rapporteur Deputy Nawar al-Sahili.

The committee discussed the draft law presented by Former Minister of Justice Ibrahim Najjar related to amending articles in the Code of Civil Procedures in addition to the formation of a human rights body.

After the meeting, Deputy Sahili called for keeping political issues away from the law and the parliamentary work.

"We should understand that we are applying the rules of the parliament as commissioned by the Speaker," Sahili concluded.
