Most prominent decisions of Parliamentary session
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri headed a parliamentary session at UNESCO Palace in Beirut on Thursday, to discuss items on the agenda.

The legislative session started with the first item, and parliament approved the request for the government to join the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements resulting from Mediation.

The House of Representatives also approved a bill allocating 500 billion Lebanese pounds to support educational affairs.

As for the election law, the House of Representatives agreed to keep the election date on March 27, with 77 deputies voting on that date. The Council entered into a legal and constitutional debate about the quorum.

Berri considered the quorum is 57, due to the death and resignation of some deputies.
