Cardinal Rai assists Pope Benedict XVI in Sunday mass

The Holy Mass led by Pope Benedict XVI kicked off at the Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican, with the assistance of Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Rai and the 5 newly-appointed cardinals.

The mass is being held in the presence of Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, political figures from March 8 and March 14 and a large crowd of Lebanese who came specifically for the occasion.
