4 dead in car crashes across Lebanon

Two Lebanese soldiers were killed in a horrific car accident in Shtoura roundabout on Friday dawn.

According to the NNA correspondent, the soldiers' Honda car rammed into a tree as they were heading to Beirut, killing them instantly.

Civil defense units rushed to the scene of the accident and were forced to cut the tree in order to pull out the bodies of the two soldiers.

The bodies were taken to a morgue in Shtoura hospital.

In a separate story, Lebanese citizen Halim Gharib and a Syrian national were killed when their car crashed on Kab Elias main road.

Security forces rushed to the scene and launched investigations.
