PSP delegation visits Gemayel

A joint press conference was held on Monday between Kataeb Chief Amin Gemayel and Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi following talks held between the two in line with MP Walid Jumblatt's rescue initiative.

For his part, Gemayel said that their discussion aimed at rescuing Lebanon from its current crisis, stressing that "Jumblatt's initiative holds several points that we agree upon, especially those pertaining to Lebanon's dissociation policy."

For his part, Minister Ghazy Aridi said that they are all concerned with the protection of Lebanon and agree with the Kataeb party on major issues, stressing the need to reach common consensus between different factions.

Aridi noted that they will keep on exerting efforts in line with finding solutions for Lebanon's crisis on the political, economic and social levels, adding that they respect the groups choosing to boycott the national dialogue; however added that the importance of dialogue must not be undermined.
