Chamoun: Syrian ambassador should be expelled from Lebanon

The President of the National Liberal Party Dory Chamoun refused on Thursday the intervention of the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim Ali in the internal Lebanese Affairs, noting that the Syrian regime was the one that refused the demarcation and the control of the border with Syria.

Chamoun said that "the intervention of Ambassador Ali in the work of the institutions by giving them instructions, reminded us of the days when the Syrians occupied Lebanon," calling on Ali to respect the diplomatic norms in his speeches since "he has violated all the red lines". He also called for the expulsion of Ali from Lebanon.
