Kidnap attempt in town of Shaat, northern Bekaa

Three armed men, on board a Jeep, chased on Sunday night a BMW X5 driven by the Dr. Mustafa Sukkariyah on the road of northern Bekaa, and intercepted him in an attempt to kidnap him at the entrance of the town of Shaat, but Sykkariyah abandoned his car and escaped.        

The gunmen opened fire at him, severely injuring him. He was then taken to Dar al-Hikma Hospital for treatment.
