REPORT: Seal of the State of Palestine to replace Palestinian Authority

The Palestinian Presidency issued a decree whereby it stated that in official documents "State of Palestine" must replace "Palestinian Authority," the name of his self-rule government.
The Palestinian presidency stressed that the model of the state emblem to be used in official documents will be ready within two months.

While the Palestinian authority considered its decision as an implementation of the UN resolution upgrading Palestine’s representation, the Israeli response came fast by refusing to work by the resolution.

According to the Oslo Agreement, the Palestinian citizens hold two types of passports, one given to those who live in the West Bank and Gaza, and another given to the Palestinian refugees.
