Sleiman via Twitter: I will not change my beliefs on civil marriage

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman reiterated his stance on civil marriage, calling on all parties to heed the people’s demands and draft appropriate laws for civil marriage in Lebanon.         

Via his Twitter account, Sleiman said: “Some politicians oppose civil marriage but that will not change my beliefs nor will it deter me from getting the train on the right track.”
