Gemayel conveys Hollande's support to Lebanon

Kataeb leader Amine Gemayel, currently on a visit to Paris, met with French President, François Hollande, on Wednesday evening whereby they discussed the most recent regional developments, especially the situation in the war-torn Syrian nation and its repercussions on the Lebanese internal scene.

Gemayel also conveyed the French President's unremitting support for Lebanon and the displaced Syrians currently present on its territories.

"The large number of Syrian refugees is a burden that cannot be humanitarianly handled in the absence of a road map at the level of the Arab League and the international community," Gemayel said.

Gemayel also conveyed the French President's support to national dialogue, as well as Lebanon's disassociation policy towards the Syrian crisis.
