Kanaan to LBCI: Hariri’s initiative is "nothing new"

Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan voiced his support for any initiative which would ensure national partnership, considering that parity can only be achieved through the adoption of the Orthodox Gathering’s proposed electoral law.       

Kanaan told Nharkom Said on Friday that the initiative launched by former PM Saad Hariri is "nothing new", adding “Christian parties have overcome the phase of discussions and reached an agreement over the Orthodox Gathering’s law under the umbrella of Bkerke.”
