One killed in Tripoli dispute, 2 bombs found in al-Maarad Street

One person was killed and another was injured in gunfire exchange Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli, specifically in the locality of al-Khannaq. The clash came as a result of a personal dispute between young men and both the victim and the injured person whilst passing through the aforementioned area.

The dispute reportedly took place between Van owners. Security forces and LAF intelligence rushed to the scene to settle the dispute and an uneasy calm is prevailing in the area.

On another note, an LAF unit found two defused bombs in al-Maarad Street in Tripoli on Wednesday morning. The bombs were reportedly thrown on the side of the road.    

A military expert arrived to the scene shortly, transporting the bombs to a safe location.
