Raad: We understand the demands of the Syndicate Coordination Committee

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad said he understands the demands of the Syndicate Coordination Committee.

Following his meeting with a delegation from the Committee, he reiterated his stance calling for the referral of the ranks and salaries series to Parliament.

In turn, Head of the Secondary Teachers Union, Hanna Gharib, considered that the government has been postponing the decision to refer the series for 5 months now, “thus it is responsible for the open-ended general strike that would paralyze schools, high schools, technical and vocational institutions, the public administration, ministries and municipalities to take place."

“Nothing would put the strike to rest except for a speedyreferral of the ranks and salaries series to Parliament,” Gharib said.
