Saudi Arabia summons its ambassador to Sri Lanka

The Saudi government decided to summon its ambassador to Sri Lanka following a similar decision taken by Colombo recently following the execution of a Sri Lankan domestic worker in the Kingdom, according to an official source.        

“As per the decision taken by the Sri Lankan government to pull its ambassador from Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned its ambassador there “for consultations.”
