Judeh: Jordan calls for ending violence in Syria

Jordanian Foreign Minister, Nasser Judeh met on Thursday with Lebanese Prime Minsiter Najib Mikati and discussed the current situation in the region, mainly the issue of the Syrian refugees, noting that Lebanon and Jordan are bearing a heavy burden and growing numbers of refugees due to the worsening situation in Syria.

Judeh stressed that Jordan is calling for ending violence and killing in Syria and encourages political solution to ensure a safe transitional phase in order to secure the unity of the Syrian lands and the dignity of the Syrian people while restoring security and stability in the country and the region.
