IDF Chief of Staff escalates threats against Lebanon

IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz ruled out the fact that Lebanon's Hezbollah owns chemical weapons, warning Syria and Hezbollah that his army became fully prepared for any case of emergency in the region, noting that in case of any development harming regional security and stability, the Israeli army will have to take necessary measures.

On the other hand, Gantz escalated his threats saying that: "What is happening on the northern front is considered as a dangerous change, while the situation in Lebanon indicates that the threat is growing," stressing that Israel will not stand silent when the situation worsens.
