Khoury to LBCI: Cabinet responsible for holding elections on time

The advisor of former PM Saad Hariri, former MP Ghattas Khoury said on Wednesday that the majority of the electoral proposals, currently presented, hold predictable results.

In this context, Khoury told LBCI that the government is showing a poor performance regarding the issue of the ranks and salaries series, noting that every minister in the cabinet has his own position in this matter. Accordingly, he called on all officials to find a mean to meet the need of the Union Coordination Committee without harming the economy.

On the other hand, Khoury held the government fully responsible for holding the parliamentary elections on time, stressing that the Arab and International communities have an important impact on whether or not the elections will be held.
