Three killed in passenger bus accident on Bwar highway
        
Three people were killed and five were left seriously injured after a passenger bus collided with a truck registered under a Syrian number plate driven by Said Berri Awad on the eastern side of the Bwar Highway.      

Operations director for the  Lebanese Red Cross George Kettaneh confirmed to LBCI the three deaths, stressing that the wounded were transferred to Saydet al-Maounet, Saint Louis and Notre Dame Maritime Hospitals.               

Red Cross ambulances arrived swiftly to the scene to tend to the injured, with the Internal Security Forces coordinating traffic measures in the now congested highway.
