UNHCR says 48 thousand refugees entered Lebanon during March

The United Nations High United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) issued on Monday a report whereby it declared that 48 thousand Syrians fled the war in Syria and found refuge in Lebanon during the month of March 2013.

According to the report, thousands of refugees await registration with the UNHCR in order to receive relief, while the total number of Syrians and Palestinians who escaped Syria and headed for Turkey, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt hit one million.
