Bassil: Oil detected off the coast of Beirut and Mount Lebanon

Caretaker Energy and Water Minister Gebran Bassil declared on Monday that the pollution produced by the Zouk Power Plant will decrease significantly, adding that 1000 megawatts of power were supplied to Keserwan.                

During the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Zouk Plant in the presence of MP Michel Aoun, Bassil noted that 24 hour electricity will be made available by 2015, pointing out that there is oil off the coast of Beirut and Mount of Lebanon.
