REPORT: Until when will Tripoli’s destiny remain in the hands of gunmen?

Nothing in Tripoli indicates that the situation is normal, as one was killed and dozens injured during the past three days amid clashes, gunfire exchange, fights with knives and roads’ blocking across Tripoli’s areas.

While gunmen control the city, the residents keep on urging the government to solve the problem. However, the political powers lifted the cover off the criminals, and the Salafist movements still seek the state’s intervention.

This report will shed the light on the current situation in the city of Tripoli, and the position of Sheikh Salem al-Rafei regarding the issue.
