REPORT: Happy ending marks Arsal’s kidnapping saga

The freed hostages Hussein Jaafar arrived on Friday at midnight to Arsal, where he was received by the Lebanese Army’s Intelligence branch at the residence of the town’s mayor Ali al-Houjayri.            

Jaafar was freed in exchange of the six hostages abducted by the residents of Arsal. The exchange process took place near an army checkpoint in the town, where gunshots were fired in the air to celebrate the end of this issue.                 

In this report Hussein al-Jaafar will tell the details, in a statement to LBCI, of the period of his kidnap.
