MP Alain Aoun to LBCI: We are still studying the hybrid draft law

Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Alain Aoun declared on Friday that the bloc is carefully studying the hybrid electoral law, noting that this law was “politically drafted and it does not ensures a fair Christian representation.”

“In case our remarks were taken into consideration, we might accept anything to save the elections,” he added.

In a statement to LBCI, Aoun said that his bloc rejects the extension for the Parliament’s mandate, stressing that they are trying their best to protect the Christian rights.
