REPORT: FSA searches for safe passages through Eastern Lebanese mountains

The eastern Lebanese borders have become ‘embers under the ashes’, as the Free Syrian Army (FSA) has run out of reasons preventing it from exerting pressure on Hezbollah in the regions of Baalbek in order to ease the siege on al-Qusayr.

However, the Syrian opposition noted that the said region is expected to be a volatile military and security zone in the upcoming stage.

This report will highlight the efforts deployed by the FSA in order to find safe passages between Lebanon and Syria that will allow it to ensure military and food supplies. The report will also shed light on the towns controlled by the FSA and those controlled by Hezbollah along the Eastern borders between both countries.
