Man stung to death by thousands of killer bees

A Texas man was stung to death by thousands of Africanized killer bees on June 1, 2013.

Police reported that the man was using a tractor to pull a shredder when he bumped into a brush pile that held a large bee hive.

According to a Sheriff's deputy, the man ran to a neighbor's house for help while completely covered in bees.Two others were stung while trying to help him.

The hive, estimated to be home to more than 40 thousand bees was later removed by a bee keeper.
