Future bloc: Hezbollah is the product of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards

The Future bloc denounced on Tuesday the murder of citizen Hashem Salman, noting that this incident must awaken the Lebanese people and urge them to defend the freedom of expression. The bloc held Hezbollah fully responsible for the crime, calling on the concerned authorities to chase and arrest the perpetrators.         

In a statement following its weekly meeting the Future bloc issued a whereby it said that Hezbollah has become a militia affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, urging the Shiite party to withdraw its fighters from Syria "before its too late," adding that Hezbollah’s intervention in the Syrian war has had negative repercussions on the country's economic stability.               

On Sunday, men wielding batons and wearing yellow arm bands evoking Lebanon's Hezbollah attacked protesters outside the Iranian Embassy in Bir Hassan, Beirut during a rally against the group's participation in the Syrian civil war.                 

One protester identified as a 28-year-old member of the small Lebanese Option Party Hashem Salman, was killed in the anti-Hezbollah protest, a senior Lebanese military official and witnesses said.
