Health Minister Hassan: Baalbek governmental hospital is now ready to receive Coronavirus cases

Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Wednesday that the Baalbek governmental hospital is now ready to receive Coronavirus patient.

The minister said that in-home quarantine is mandatory, adding that Lebanon is an example in terms of compliance to the instructions of the Ministry of Health in coordination with the World Health Organization.

“The increase in Coronavirus cases in Lebanon is normal and not catastrophic,” Hassan added.

 

“If we continue in this way, we will be following the set plan," he added.

The minister conclude by saying that the Lebanese Cabinet will extend the general mobilization based on the field data, the number of cases and the report of the Ministry of Health.
