Minister Abdel Samad clarifies issue about Coronavirus case at Tele Liban station

Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad said on Sunday that "one of the female employees working at Tele-Liban's Administrative Directorate had contracted the Coronavirus, but did not come into contact with any of of her colleagues, and is currently abiding by the in-home quarantine and is observing the full measures of prevention and isolation."

The Information Minister assured that "the situation at the TV Station is normal, and everyone is respecting the social distancing measures, wearing face masks and observing hand sanitization rules upon entry and exit from the station and prior to the programs."

Abdel Samad urged all sides "not to mislead the public and to refrain from publishing any news without verifying its authenticity.
She concluded by urging everyone to avoid creating any kind of bullying towards the infected individuals which would cause them harm, as well as to their surroundings and all of society and the television station."
