Health Minister Hassan: I recommend a total lockdown for two weeks
Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Monday that he recommended a total lockdown for two weeks to the governmental committee tasked with following up on Coronavirus.
Hassan’s comments were made during a press conference during which he asserted that private hospitals must inaugurate departments dedicated to receiving Coronavirus patients.
“We must prepare for the fall season which forecasts a flu season and Coronavirus,” he added.
As for reopening the schools, Hassan said that this issue is up to the Minister of Education.
