Hassan: Total lockdown is opportunity to up readiness of health sector
Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Monday that the total lockdown is an opportunity for Lebanon’s health sector to up its readiness, adding that the partial lockdown did not yield the necessary results.
 
Hassan also noted that his ministry contacted the Central Bank to unlock a sum to be given to private hospitals in order to inaugurate Coronavirus departments.
 
“Due amounts for the first six months of 2020 will be paid to hospitals this week,” the minister stressed.
