Hassan: Lebanon to be in the eye of the storm after January 10

Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan that vaccine against Coronavirus will arrive on time to Lebanon.

Hassan’s comments were made after meeting with Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab at the Grand Serail whereby he expected that the number of infections would rise after the holidays.

“"What is happening is not right and puts us in the eye of the storm after January 10," he added.

The caretaker minister also noted that discussions over a new lockdown is meaningless, stressing however that strict measures will be implemented in towns that will witness a surge in Coronavirus cases.

As for the Coronavirus new variant, Hassan noted that flights from the UK can not be banned without banning flights from other countries too that recorded new strain cases.
