Health Minister: New age groups will be vaccinated

Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hasan said on Wednesday via his Twitter account: "In line with the increasing number of COVD-19 infections, and after vaccinating 30-49 age group with AstraZeneca, and 50 and above age group with Pfizer, the Ministry of Public Health launches a Pfizer vaccination campaign to cover age groups between born 1997-1992 that had been registered on the COVAX platform until July 31.

Hasan added that an option to register 12 year old children and above is currently available on COVAX platform in preparation for later coverage.
