Azar to LBCI: Everyone must receive third dose of vaccine, especially those above 50

Head of Lebanese National Vaccine Executive Committee Dr. Eid Azar said on Sunday that the age group that made up the largest number of vaccinated people in yesterday's Pfizer marathon is between 30 and 40 years old, i.e. the group that waited for the Pfizer vaccine earlier and was not available to it at the time.

Eid’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that refugees set important records in vaccination.

He also stressed the importance of organizing more vaccination marathons to encourage vaccination.

Eid concluded by urging everyone to receive the third dose of vaccine, especially for those over the age of 50 “because Coronavirus is a disease that targets the elderly.”
