PAC discharged employees call on Bin Talal to pay their dues
The committee following up on the case of the discharged employees of PAC and LBCI mentioned that the 400 employees who were discharged from PAC have not yet received their dues and compensations amid difficult living conditions which no longer tolerate further delay. The committee called on the owner of the company, Prince Walid Bin Talal to end this issue.

On the other hand, the committee also considered that Sheikh Pierre Daher is also held accountable in this case.

In this context, the discharged employees reached, through their lawyer George Khadij, an agreement regarding their compensations and which was approved by the agents of PAC, with the support of Labor Minister Salim Jreissati.

The aforementioned agreement was reached six months ago, on May 9, and since then promises and deadlines continue to be given, yet none of them have been upheld nor respected so far.
