Peaceful negotiations between army and protesters in Okaibe (Video)

A unit of the Lebanese Armed Forces Marine Commandos arrived on Saturday morning to the region of Okaibe in a bid to reopen the road.

The army conducted peaceful negotiations with the protesters, who insisted on continuing their sit-in peacefully and refused to reopen the road.

During the negotiations, a citizen told the army: “Run us over and we will continue to accept you. I will keep calling you Sir even if you run me over.”
