Beirut municipality to start removing all elections related slogans, banners
The Public Relations Department of Beirut Municipality said on Sunday that as part of his plan to make Beirut a city free of partisan, political and sectarian slogans, Governor of Beirut Judge Marwan Abboud, began, in coordination with all concerned authorities, a campaign to be launched at the end of next week to remove all slogans, pictures, flags, and advertisements belonging to candidates for the parliamentary elections scattered throughout the capital.
