REPORT: Hamra restaurant offers discount for leaving cellphone outside

A restaurant located in the Hamra area of Beirut has introduced a new offer to its clients by granting them 10% discount for leaving their cellphones at the restaurant’s reception.

Bedivere Eatery & Tavern is seeking to promote interpersonal communication, and to mitigate the social plague represented by the excessive use of cellphones and smartphone applications while hanging out with friends.
