REPORT: Baumgartner's skydive breaks social media records
Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner who jumped though the stratosphere from a balloon near the edge of space 39,000 m above Earth on Sunday and safely landed, set a record for the highest skydive and broke the sound barrier in the process.

The daredevil skydiver also set new records on the social media websites, as more than 8,000,000 viewers watched the video of his leap on Youtube.

In this context, Twitter reported that more than 3,100,000 tweets revolved around Baumgartner during his 5-minute historical jump, while Facebook said that 30 000 users shared the first shot of the skydiver's landing within less than 30 minutes.
