Sometimes, while at the grocery store, we buy more food than we can eat and it ends up going stale and tossed into the trashcan.
This may not be necessary, since some foods that we think are no longer edible can be salvaged.
In an excerpt from an episode of the Rachael Ray Show, the host's guest, Sara Moulton, shows us how to revive stale baguette.
In the video, Sara starts with a stale loaf of bread, which has ended up turning hard as a rock.
Instead of throwing it into the wastebasket, Sara puts the baguette under cold running water and then wraps it up in foil before heating it in the over for just about 10 minutes.
Watch the video below to see what happens when she takes it out, and to learn a couple of tips on reviving stale foods.
