Israeli army kills more than 20 Palestinian militants in Khan Younis

The Israeli army said on Thursday that its forces killed more than 20 Palestinian militants in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip and arrested dozens of suspected militants yesterday.

The army added that two of the detainees are suspected of involvement in an attack by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Israel on October 7.

The army has made similar claims throughout the fighting in Khan Yunis. They could not be independently verified.
