Arab Democratic Party says Chweifat scuffle not politically motivated

The Arab Democratic Party issued a statement on Saturday whereby it announced that the scuffle which took place in the region of Chweifat with Sheikh Nadim Haidar who is close to Lebanese Democratic Party leader MP Talal Arslan, was merely a personal dispute.

In this regard, the said party pointed out that "the scuffle is not politically motivated," denying any involvement of Hezbollah, Amal Movement and their supporters.

The Arab Democratic Party also noted that efforts are being exerted in order to settle the dispute in accordance with the Public Right.
