MP Aoun says North Lebanon and Sidon are under the authority of Takfirists

Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that Lebanon had been witnessing acts of sabotage and security breaches prior to Hezbollah’s intervention in the Syrian crisis, adding that North Lebanon and Sidon have come under the authority of the Takfirists.

Following the Bloc’s weekly meeting, MP Aoun said that talks about the rotation of governmental portfolios in light of the formation of an interim cabinet is shameful, adding that the cabinet will not be formed at any time soon.

As for the file of the Syrian refugees, MP Aoun said that officials should no longer turn a blind eye to the continuous influx of refugees, highlighting the importance of identifying the political identity of new comers.

Aoun criticized the failure to approve the gas line from North Lebanon to its South seemingly since it is considered as an industrial revolution that would have returned its funding costs in 6 months time.
