REPORT: Activists voice rejection to the destruction of Beirut's Jesuit Garden

Civil society activists called on the municipality of Beirut Monday to refrain from building a parking garage in place of the Jesuit Garden in Beirut, pointing out that this project will destroy one of the few public parks and green spaces in the capital.             

Civil activists added that this project will be the cause further congestion in terms of traffic flow and mentioned that they in the the midst of presenting an alternative project.      

This report will shed light on the movement that will be carried out by civil activists on the 26th of July as well as their stance regarding the destruction of the Jesuit Garden in Beirut's Achrafieh.
