Siniora meets with Jordanian king in Amman, discusses regional situation

Jordan's King Abdullah II met in Amman on Sunday with the head of the Future bloc MP Fouad Siniora, on the sidelines of his meeting with a delegation from Arab and International Relations Council headed by Mohammad al-Saqr, a statement issued by Siniora’s media office said.

According to the statement, the meeting, which lasted more than one hour, tackled the latest developments in the Arab world, mainly in Syria where efforts continue to be deployed in a bid to end bloodshed and reach political solutions to the crisis, stressing that the UN Security Council must take action in this regard.
