REPORT: Parliament session postponed until 20, 21st of August

The Parliamentary session, which was expected to be held today [on Monday] at 10:30 am, was postponed until the 20 and 21st of August due to lack of quorum.

The deputies were expected to discuss an agenda of 45 items, among which is the item pertaining to the extension of the mandate of Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Jean Kahwagi.

The Parliament session had failed to convene and was postponed several times after failing to reach quorum since some parties are boycotting it due to their objection to the content of the agenda.
