Sheikh Qabalan calls on Lebanese people to avoid sedition

Deputy Head of the Islamic Shiite Supreme Council, Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan called on the Lebanese people to be united and to thwart all attempts to foment sedition.

"We, the Lebanese people, should work hand in hand," Sheikh Qabalan said in his sermon on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

In this context, Sheikh Qabalan called for national reconciliation in order to rebuild the Lebanese state's institutions, stressing the need to bolster the capabilities of the Lebanese Armes Forces, enabling them to face all kinds of challenges.
