MP Rahme denies any disputes between MP Aoun, Frangieh

Change and Reform bloc MP Emile Rahme stressed on Friday that "the Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun is not at odds with the Marada Party Leader MP Sleiman Frangieh," calling for a fair representation of each political party should a new government be formed.

In an interview with LBCI's Nharkom Said TV Show, MP Rahme noted that the families of the Aazaz hostages had previously said "they will do anything" to release their relatives, voicing his rejection to any operation that violates the law despite his support to the aforementioned case.

In this regard, MP Rahme said the General Security head Major General Abbas Ibrahim was "betrayed" since he was expecting the release of two hostages in the holy month of Ramadan.
MP Rahme also pointed out that he had called on the Syrian regime to release the Syrian female prisoners held in Damascus, adding however that no initiative was taken afterwards.
